The Dusit D2 Kenz Hotel is a unique new arrival to Barsha Heights in Dubai. This ultra-modern hotel features 237 guest suites and executive floor. With its prime location, Dust D2 Kenz is a perfect spot for exploring the city as it is a short walk from the metro station.
Outside it’s a modern hotel building; inside it’s a cross between a hotel and a contemporary art gallery. A total of 299 works by young Emirati visual artist Zeinab Al Hashemi are on permanent display in the elegantly jazzy interior. The hotel’s art programme pays tribute to the hard work that has gone into creating modern Dubai using the symbol of the dhow sail.
Business and leisure guests, along with local residents, are welcomed into the hotel’s breathtaking reception, which gives a glimpse of the tailored art programme. The suspended lobby piece was the first to be commissioned and is the largest installation that Zeinab Al Hashemi has worked on.
As you explore the hotel further, you’re confronted by an unmistakably impeccable attention to detail. The layout is thoughtfully designed to showcase artistic moments. Expect to see Zeinab’s art pieces on your floor, when the lift opens it’s doors.
The main ground-floor restaurant Osmo brings together cuisines from the Middle East and all over the Mediterranean region offering a selection of grill, salad, tapas and pizza on the menu. The interior of Osmo is really inviting and adorable featuring popular shabby-chic style in a pretty contemporary way. It’ll be nice to bring a book or laptop here and hang out for a while.
Embracing the philosophy that art and design influence the hospitality industry for the better, Dusit D2 Kenz Hotel is focused on creating a sensory experience for guests to remember long beyond check-out.
